Annet Mahendru
Mahendru was born to an Russian mother from India and an Afghan Hindu father. She is fluent in German, Russian, English as well as French Persian and Hindi. Annet Mahendru, born in India to her Russian father and an Indian mother, is fluent of both Indian and Russian. When she was 11, Annet Mahendru choreographed and performed a dance that resulted in a German television show. The show featured a Russian-born snow maiden who was transformed into an exciting Indian dancer. She graduated from high school at the age of 11 in New York before earning a Bachelor of Arts (English) at St. John's University. Following school, she began acting classes in the HB Studio but then moved on to study improvisation with The Groundlings School taking on several comedy shows afterward. She was born in Kabul Afghanistan to a Hindu-Indian father Ghanshan Ken Mahendru and the Russian mother Olga. She was only 13 when her parents divorced. Her father relocated her family to East Meadow New York. TV actress best known for her role as an ex- KGB agent Nina Sergeevna Krilova, on FX's The Americans. Her role was a regular one in Fox's The Following and NBC's The Blacklist.
